Braunschweig Racing Signs Stephen Cox for GridLife Run

Braunschweig Racing, a Minneapolis-based sports car franchise with multiple endurance racing wins, has signed Indianapolis driver Stephen Cox to compete in the GridLife Music & Motorsports Festival series.

With sponsorship from 104+ Horsepower, Cox will pilot Braunschweig’s Chevrolet Corvette in the Gridlife Midwest Festival, June 4-7, 2020 at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, Michigan. This forges a reunion of the same team/car/driver combination that set the current World Racing League track record en route to a dominating win at the same track more than four years ago.

“We’re really looking forward to getting Stephen back in the car after our win with him at Gingerman in 2015,” said Braunschweig Racing team principal Matt Peterson. ”This will be our first sprint race with this car but we love what Gridlife has put together for their Touring Cup series and can’t wait to see how we stack up against their top contenders.”

104+ Horsepower will have a major presence at the event with an interactive exhibit offering information about 104+ Max Octane Boost and Lead Substitute, which cleans the fuel system while increasing fuel octane. In between race events, Cox will meet race fans at the 104+ Horsepower exhibit.

Cox will again drive the 104+ Horsepower/Braunschweig Corvette at the GridLife Alpine Horizon Festival at Pike’s Peak International Raceway in Colorado Springs on August 21-23, 2020.
