Sopwith Motorsports

Sopwith Motorsports and driver Stephen Cox compete in the international Electric GT sports car championship, the American Super Cup Stock Car Series and the World Racing League endurance series.

Since its inception in 1985, Sopwith Motorsports has driven Rolex GT, NASCAR stock cars, sports cars, off-road Trophy Trucks and open wheel formula cars. The team has visited victory lane 23 times en route to two championship titles, as well as scoring 19 pole positions, over 102 top five finishes and almost 200 top tens.

Sopwith has participated in nearly every discipline of the sport, racing on 37-degree banked asphalt ovals, dirt tracks, road and street courses, as well as desert and off-road racing.

In 2020, Sopwith will vie for a wins at Pike’s Peak International Raceway, Gingerman Raceway, Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, and more.
