The three-year relationship between Sopwith Motorsports and McGunegill Engine Performance has been broadened and extended under a new agreement for the 2014 racing season.

McGunegill Engine Performance supplies powerful, reliable, low-maintenance engines for most classes of auto racing. The company's engines have produced multiple championship titles in ARCA racing, the Jegs CRA tour, I-44 Speedway and more, and powered the Sopwith Motorsports entry to top-five finishes in the Super Cup Stock Car Series. MEP also supplies engines for road racing and open wheel racing, as well as classic street machines.

“I'm proud to drive a McGunegill powered car and delighted that our company is associated with MEP,” said Sopwith Motorsports racing driver and NBCSN host Stephen Cox. “Auto racing needs affordable, reliable engine options and that is MEP's specialty. Classic car enthusiasts need powerful engines suitable for the street, and McGunegill's motorsports background gives customers tremendous confidence in their products.”

McGunegill Engines will be featured on all 2014 episodes of “Sopwith Motorsports TV,” a 30-minute auto racing program covering auto racing throughout the Midwest. The program is carried by Time Warner Cable, TUFF TV, Untamed Sports TV and other media outlets.

The season's first episode will be filmed on May 10th at Wisconsin International Raceway. Air dates and times will be announced shortly.
