The Mecum muscle car auction in Dallas last weekend offered perhaps the best parade of Ford Mustangs in recent memory; certainly the finest I've seen at an auction in the last two years.

Okay, I'm sitting in my hotel room after the auction last weekend jamming to Heart (“Crazy on You”) and it occurs to me how much I really love the Mecum Auto Auction held in Des Moines.

Okay, I’m becoming a fan of this whole vintage racing thing.
Years ago, vintage racing began with a handful of guys who had old cars but were afraid to drive them. Now it’s exploded and the competition level is insane.
MECUM AUCTION: Live from Indianapolis
The 25th edition of Mecum's Spring Classic was held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds last week, producing high-dollar sales on some of the most desirable automobiles in the world. Most of those sales made perfect sense. A couple of them surprised me.
